Solution (Stolen) to Adobe Air\Pownce Error: The instruction at “0×10140d66″ referenced memory at “0×00000004″. The memory could not be “read”. Click on OK to terminate the program.

To get the Windows Pownce Client to work, follow the steps below:

1. Open the file:
C:\Documents and Preferences\ $USERNAME$ \Pownce\META-INF\AIR\application.xml
2. Search for:
<rootContent> systemChrome=”none”; transparent=”true” visible=”true”>PownceDesktop.swf</rootContent>
3. change it to:
<rootContent> systemChrome=”none” transparent=”false“; visible=”true”>PownceDesktop.swf</rootContent>
